Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup raspberry jam (or your favorite berry jam)
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon sugar (for sprinkling)
- Fresh raspberries (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Puff Pastry: Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a clean surface. Cut it into squares or rectangles, depending on your preference.
- Fill with Jam: Place a small spoonful of raspberry jam in the center of each pastry square. Be careful not to overfill to avoid leakage while baking.
- Add White Chocolate: Sprinkle a few white chocolate chips on top of the jam, adding a sweet, creamy flavor.
- Seal the Pastries: Fold the pastry into a triangle or rectangle (like a turnover) and pinch the edges to seal them well.
- Egg Wash: Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it lightly over the top of each pastry for a golden finish.
- Sugar Sprinkle: Sprinkle the top of the pastries with a little sugar for extra sweetness and a beautiful finish.
- Bake: Place the pastries on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Cool and Garnish: Allow the pastries to cool for a few minutes. Optionally, garnish with fresh raspberries for an extra pop of color and flavor.
ENJOY!
